Update Confederate Memorial Park July 2020

Good Afternoon,

Confederate Memorial Park is doing well!

We would like to Thank Everyone who helps us monitor the Park especially, Leonard, Roz, Dennis, Bob, John, Barb, Liz, Todd, Donnie and Brian. Those extra trips helped us in the time span when we had only trail cams.

A permanent security system is up and running. We still are waiting to install 1 more camera however there are several working now.

We also have served a couple of people (Professors) with No Trespassing Papers who were vacationing close to Confederate Memorial Park.

With the tremendous support and help from Leonard we have installed a Beautiful New Walkway at the Confederate Memorial Park.

We also have installed 2 orders of Memorial Bricks at CMP.

We're sorry we haven't been able to update everyone and work on our Newsletter "The Parapet Chronicles." but we will soon.

We also have been working with Maryland State Archaeologists because the Road Widening Project is starting. The Electrical Co this week drilled a hole in the survey area of the Smallpox/Confederate Cemetery. No remains were found. We will also be a consulting party when the State starts widening that area which is supposed to start soon.
